　　某天，时隔10年回到日本的少年·一希东，突然遭到武装男子们的袭击，并被囚禁起来。而救出了东的人，是青梅竹马的少女·朝吹黄金，以及有着右手形态、拥有意志的武器“舞武器”。知道了“舞武器”的存在，以及自身也是“舞武器使者”的东，与遇到的同伴们一起，为了让沉眠于地下、被称为“王舞”的舞乱伎（巨人）复活而开始行动。相隔10年后回到日本的一希东，不知为何被舞武器警察追捕。东的青梅竹马朝吹黄金看到被警察带走的东，便带着舞武器小右闯入警局将东救出来。第一次见到舞武器威力的东，与其他舞武器使者野野柊、扇木乃亚、种臣静流等人相遇，并同行前往舞武器监牢，拯救沉睡的舞乱伎“王舞”。看到只剩骨架的王舞，东失望地伫立着。成功拖住的场井的黄金等人也赶到东的身边，柊觉得不能放过让王舞复活的大好机会，便威胁对舞武器一窍不通东把心脏交出来，甚至不惜攻击东逼王舞的心脏启动。看似王舞复活有望同时，柊所憎恶的万流礼央子驾驶炎帝现身。10年前掉落到东京无数的舞乱伎，被万流礼央子和她的舞乱伎炎帝击败。在熊熊的火焰中浮现礼央子得意的仰天大笑。从那天起这个国家便陷入礼央子和炎帝的恐怖统治中。东一行人逃亡最后投靠堀野的基地，堀野教导东有关舞乱伎的知识还有母亲的过去。在夜深人静之际，那个熟悉的敌人又出现了。　怒吼着要为父报仇的黄金，对的场井发动猛烈攻击，但是在技术跟经验不足的状态下节节败退，即使东以心脏舞武器挺身阻挡攻击，仍然挡不住无情的枪林弹雨。东等人认为只能使用王舞速战速决，但是无论如何都无法发动王舞，此时的场井拿出炎帝的心脏，向同为右手的黄金提出舞武器对战。
